Escalar en Garraf
Hola!
Yo no hablo español bien, entonces I am looking for somebody who could tell me in English something more about climbing in Garraf and other places very near to Barcelona. Maybe is it possible to climb near here at the beach??? It is hard for me to find anything in internet as it is all in catalan or castellano:(((

Hy!
Ok, let me explain:
In Garraf (Pas de la Mala Dona) you are going to climb "over" the beach (the roof of a train tunnel and part of a clif over the sea) from that area you´ll have the nearest beach 10 minutes by car.
In Castelldefels (more near form BCN) you have a traditional climbing area (Pic Martell) that is 3 km from the beach (beach is another 10 min. from parking by car), in the same area but with an easier approach there´s a sport climbing area (Penya ginesta).
In the following route description there is a map that shows to you how to get that two areas in castelldefells.

From the firs roudabout in the map, the beach is 200m.

There many places in garraf for climbing.

oh, thanks so much, i guess I would go there this weekend to have a look:)))
But unfortunately I do not have a car, so I hape that it is possible to gest there form the train station. The map that you gave me feels like really bad, but i hope that is enough:)) heh!
If I already have some names of the places, I would surely find them on a normal geaographical plan then.
